This week my students have to read another fairy-tale and do their homework online answering some questions. One of my goals in the English classroom is to encourage my students to read actual texts in English, not abridged versions, and reading tales written for children is a good place to start.

The fairy-tale The Well at the World’s End is very popular and there are many different versions of it in English, Scottish and Irish folklore. They usually involve a girl travelling very far and meeting a number of strange creatures on the way…
Our version is from a book of Scottish fairy-tales and features a beautiful princess with a very cruel stepmother and an extremely ugly stepsister… I’m sure that rings a bell!

1.The pony who helped him reach the end of the world and allowed to ride on it.
2.Because it was more hypocritical and she was more concerned with their appearance than the first princess.
3.Because in the end all ends well for which it the deserving.

1 – Get to know your princess pony that leads to the well where you have to fill the bottle, and the well known centers men who predict the future.
2-Because his sister did not want anyone’s help to reach the well, and did not want to do what the gods asked, so he sprayed three curses.
3 – Because when a person has to reach the end of the world is when it actually looks like a apersona and is capable of doing things for others and help them.
4-What if the life you want something lso need help from others, can not be so egocentric, otherwise you will not get anything and everything going wrong in life air.
5-Yes, because each person pays off depending on how the person behaves and how the try.

The moral is that we must kind with everybody and not believe that we are more that somebody.!

Yes, this is story resemble ” La cenicienta ” with a bad and ugly stepsister.
